With Computers 2 Kids (Phoenix, AZ & San Diego, CA) find refurbished computers available for purchase by low income individuals and households with students. Computers are loaded with Windows 10, MS Office Suites, Antivirus, and 1-year of Free Tech Support. $80 for Desktops, and $100 for a Lenovo Yoga 11e laptop.

RefurbIT

RefurbIT (Yuma, AZ) offers low cost refurbished computers and iOS devices (iPads, iPhones) to individuals.

AZ Technology Access Program (AzTAP) offers an additional 25% off discount on RefurbIT’s price for computers for Arizonans with disabilities who also receive specific federal or state public assistance benefits.

PCs for Refugees

PCs for Refugees (Phoenix, AZ) provides free refurbished computers and educational software to refugee families in Arizona. Support is available in multiple languages. Each family receives training on how to take advantage of their new PCs. Also included is a private online support group for questions, weekly tips, tutorials, and additional resources. 

PCs for People

PCs for People is a national non-profit which offers discount computers, software, and internet service (mobile hotspots) for individuals and non-profits. Certain Microsoft and internet products may be available only to individuals and nonprofits meeting eligibility requirements

We Care Tucson

We Care Tucson (Tucson, AZ) restores donated computers and makes them available for purchase at affordable prices. They use revenue generated from computer sales to support a free medical equipment loaner program and distribute free medical and hygiene supplies.

AZ StRUT

AZStRUT (Mesa, AZ) provides free refurbished computers to schools and nonprofits in Arizona. They also accept donations of used technology and devices and provide “Techie Camp” computer hardware basics training. 

TechSoup

Through TechSoup, nonprofits, libraries, and foundations in the U.S. are potentially eligible for donated or discounted software, hardware, and services. TechSoup’s catalog includes more than 375 products from over 100 companies like Microsoft, Adobe, Cisco, Intuit, and Symantec.

Title 1 Tech – Million Dollar Teacher Project

The Million Dollar Teacher Project (Arizona) has a designated fund for schools, districts, and teachers to apply for financial support in aid in getting their students connected with tablets, laptops, and internet access to support virtual learning. Apply online.
